Route Notes

1 – Parking is available in the large car park but does get busy so arrive early. Take the path exiting the car park and follow the path heading down to the reservoir.

2 – Continue on the path through the woods taking in the views of the reservoir to your left until you reach a bridge/dam. Cross over this and continue through a gate ascending the rough track up onto the moors.

3 – Take the second path on your left and start descending, pass through a gate bear right until you see the reservoir. Keep the reservoir to your left as you follow a path through the woods until you reach a road.

4 – Exit over the stile and turn right following the road until you see a signpost on your right directing you back to the car park. (Be sure to visit the cafe before you leave for coffee and cake.)
