Theoutdoorsfamilyuk Rating – 4/5 This circular walk around Grimwith reservoir is easy going and mostly on surfaced paths which is why we have given it a rating of 4/5 as it is accessible for everyone. There is a large car park providing great views over the reservoir where you can watch the sailing boats as there is a sailing club centre here so lots going on on the water every time we have been.

Along the walk there are interpretation boards with information and plenty of places to stop for a picnic. Look out for words in the wall which I really like near the end of the walk. Grassington and Pateley bridge are not too far away with many places to eat and shop afterwards if that’s what you fancy.
